Kunky’s

Kunky’s are hand-painted tops and sweatshirts that have been hand-crafted just for you. The company was founded by Julie, who began painting on sweatshirts as a hobby while attending court reporting school. Painting for her friends and family quickly became a small home party business, leaving no time for court reporting. Julie did her home parties for 10 years before getting her retail location and production studio in Flushing, MI. She was then joined by her mother, who is also an artist and paints for Kunky’s. Her husband manages the shipping and accounting for the business. Kunky’s can now be found in boutiques all across the United States, and they pride themselves on original artwork and being made in the USA.
