Cleobella was founded with a mission to develop unique and ethically handmade clothing and accessories while supporting the livelihood of local artisans. From sustainable fabrics to sophisticated designs, Cleobella clothing  is made to be treasured. Cleobella has transformed in many ways since its inception at 2006, but it’s guiding principles remain the same. Founded by husband and wife team Angela and Jim O’Brien with their belief that travel feeds the soul and inspires the artist, Cleobella continues to draw inspiration from around the globe. The artists and makers that Angela and Jim met on a trip around the world remain integral to the brand’s story today. The company’s handmade process allows working with local artisans and small factories, creating jobs and sustainable manufacturing practices that celebrate traditional craftsman techniques. Creating pieces that will be treasured is their mantra. By using techniques like tooling, weaving, dyeing, and woodblock printing, they are able to create uniquely beautiful pieces that preserve the heritage art of the diverse cultures they represent.
